Shit hot, or just shit?
Hey, it appears you have blindly staggered into the first reviews section, if you don't want to be here then tough, your stuck, so you may as well learn something while your here, go on..... scroll down. While these reviews are done by actually testing the equipment(unlike some ski mags who just use the companies blah blah for the review) they may be quite opinionated 'cos I either like stuff or I don't so don't be offended if I trash your favourite ski, it just didn't agree with me!

Review: K2 Morrison Pro 99'
The Morrison pro is the first pro model ski to be released, followed closely by other companys copycat efforts. It ski's better than anything else i have used and seems to combine the best features of all the best skis. It has amazing edge grip on solid snow, better than the X-scream series, It floats surprisingly well considering it has such a narrow waist(possibly helped by the soft shovel) and is the fasted ski i have found. If someone overtakes you on the piste then its your skiing that needs work, not the skis!Oh and it boasts the best graphics on any ski, hot rod style!

Review: Dynastar Candide Pro 01'
The Candide is a super bouncy, tight package of a freestyle ski. It flies on the run up to jumps, springs in to the air and gives a super plush landing. The turning circle is quite good too, you can carve as good as most carver skis. It even floats resonably well in Pow due to a wide waist and soft tail. The graphics are super cool, more like a snowboard design than the usual ski crap. However give the candide any throttle on piste and it will turn into a big twitching pile of greasy elastomer unless your a fat bastard, this is not a speed demons ski. |

Review: Salomon Teneighty 00'
The 1080 is the forefather of the nu-skool ski generation. It was revolutionary when first released and was the dream ski of every wannabe freestyle monkey. However its construction has not changed since, leaving the godfather of air with a horses head in its bed. Compared to recent twin-tips it feels a little clunky and heavy and a is a bit of a dribbling idiot when it comes to piste. However in the park its landings and manueverability excel it is still a good ski, but needs to be updated. |
